Six Flags

FYI: If you haven't figure it out already, you can click on the pictures for an inlarged version. I just figured that out myself.

We spent the day at Six Flags today. I've been scheduling the boys' schoolwork so that we only have 4 days of work per week and it's been very nice. It was very warm today, around 85 degrees. Like the last time we went, it was a HUGE school day! There were lots of middle schoolers there because they were celebrating 8th grade graduation. So, we didn't stay very long because the lines were too long.

The boys went on the new Superman ride. They waited in line for about 40 mins. Jack wasn't very patient, so I let him walk around a bit. I got a few pictures of the boys on the ride. When we walked up to the front gate, they saw a couple of friends and went on the ride with them. That's why the boys aren't sitting together. Here they are just getting on the ride:

Here they are just starting to go up:

Going WAAAAY up (I would NEVER!):

Dropping!

Almost done:

Phew!

After this, the kids went on a roller coaster ride with their friends and I took J to the kiddie playground. Here he is playing.

He liked playing on this bench better...

The boys showed up and they took J on some kiddie rides. Re and J shared an airplane and B went on his own.

Then, they went on a spinning Tazmanian Devil ride. Re and J didn't spin too much because he wasn't sure he liked it. B spun like a madman.

Then, Re and J went on a ride that went up high and around while Ri and B went on the adult version. Here are Re and J:

Here are Ri and B coming off of their ride. I couldn't get a picture of them on it because the front of the ride is facing the opposite direction.

Here are Re and J while we were waiting for Ri and B to finish:

Uh oh! Here's a picture of J getting tired!

WAAAY tired!

Well, he eventually fell asleep and we decided to go home because the lines were too long. It's nice that we have season passes, so we can do that.

We went home and the kids had a water fight out back and I worked in the yard. I planted the apple tree (waaay in the back of the yard so that we wouldn't worry about rotten apples all over the ground in the middle of the yard) and watered everything. Tomorrow, we're going to get mulch and then I'll plant some other things in the garden.
