"Ok, Jack. Give me a nice smile."
"No, put your tongue in your mouth and smile nicely."
"Ok, now, look at me and give me a nice smile, not a goofy one."
"Jack! Give me a nice smile, now."
"Ok, that's good, now just look at me."

"JACK. Please look at me and smile nicely." ::::SIGH....::::

"You're not looking at me. Look at me and smile."

"There! That's better, now let's try another one."

"Oh, nevermind. Just go play."
I did get some a few minutes later, though.
So cute!
Don't think it was any easier to get a decent picture of Reeve, who is 13.
"Reeve, will you come over here, so I can get a nice picture of you?"
Reeve says: "Why? I don't want to take a picture."
"Reeve, just come over here and I'll be quick."
::::Drops his head and slinks over to me::::
"That's cute, but you're squinting, so can you open your eyes a little more?"
"Let's try to get one where you don't look like a crazed, psycho-killer."
"That's better, but your teeth are clenched. Can you try to smile naturally?" (I started to try and make him laugh.)
"A little too *laughy*, let's try one more."
We got a keeper.
Braedy's only took a few tries. I like both of these.
I still have to get some of Riley. Oscar is really hard to get pictures of because he's constantly moving. Here are a few tries...
