It's Basketball Season

Today was Re's first basketball game of the season. He was really excited for this first game. Unfortunately, I didn't have my batteries charged, so I didn't get any pictures.

The boys brought their friend along and sat with him. Paul and I tag-teamed with J. This is really going to be a fun year with J at the games! First, he thought that he should run onto the court to get the ball. He would look at me as he walked toward the court, wave "bye-bye" and then turn and run while yelling, "Ball! Ball!" Then, he saw a little girl who was about 8 mos. older than he was and thought she needed a hug. Well, she didn't want a hug, so shoved him away. Then, he noticed the broom in the corner, so kept trying to sweep the court. When the broom became an unintentional weapon, I put it away and handed him to Paul :)

I've been doing some knitting on the cutest project I've ever worked on, but I can't really go into details because it's a gift for someone who may read this. All I have to say that it's been a very difficult project and I'm never making one again! It's too bad because I love it so much that I want one for myself as well.

B has been hounding me to take him to Walmart to get a new digital camera. We got one a couple of days ago that didn't power on. Then, we exchanged it and this one doesn't really work either. So, I told him tonight that I'd take him to exchange it tomorrow. Of course, he thinks I should do it now, but it's 8PM and I'm tired!

The boys had a great time playing Xbox Live with Uncle Nathan and Uncle Shawn last night. It's the first time they've done it together, but apparently Shawn had to leave early because Heather said so. :) Then, Nathan had to go because it was getting late for him. The boys probably would have played all night long had Shawn and Nathan let them!

I do know that the boys were on late one night because everyone was talking about Nathan and the boys playing together (which they hadn't..they were just on at the same time). I asked Nathan what time this was and his reply was, ".....I...don't...know. I don't think you're supposed to know." Hmmmmmm.....I'm wondering about the influence of said uncle. Hmph.

I really like this "blog" thing. It's all new to me so thanks for explaining how to leave a comment. I really cannot imagine how you find the time to knit and create new things...but I'm sure glad you do. I love my neck warmer and the colors are perfect. Talk with you soon. Pat

I like blogs. They remind me of blobs. I am looking for something to do at 3:00 A.M., and it sounds as if I'll be able to play Halo2 online with my grandsons!
