Leonardo's

The boys and I went on a fun outing to a place called Leonardo's. It is sort of like a children's museum. I just felt like I needed to get the younger boys out of the house because we had been cooped up, because of the muddy yard, for a long time. We had grass seed planted and were watering 3+ times per day, so the kids couldn't ever go in the yard unless I wanted to bathe them every time they went out. So, they didn't get out much. They did play in the driveway, but that's not the same as running in soft, green grass with bare feet.

So, we went to Leonardo's. It was Homeschooler's Day, which meant we got free admission. That was a big incentive to drive the hour and a half it took to get there.

Here are the boys enjoying the hands on exhibits (remember, you can click on any of these to see a larger view):

Jack and Reeve took turns riding on this thing. I have no idea what it was, but they thought it was fun.

Oscar played with the puzzles while they were riding:

Here are various other pictures from our day there:

Jack was just bouncing from one thing to the next. Here he is with Braedy in a model of an airplane cockpit. I think it's a real cockpit that they put into a painted, wooden plane. Here, you will get a glimpse at how intense Jack is!

Then, when Braedy touches something that is on Jack's side, he looks like a crazed lunatic as he yells at the top of his lungs, "BRAEDY!!!!!!"

After playing inside for awhile, we went outside to the wooden castle. It was a huge playground. Oscar LOVED the water and wouldn't leave it the whole time we were out there!

We had to drag Jack to the car, kicking and screaming! He did NOT want to leave!

What a fun, fun time! I wish I had been along to share in all the fun. You could tell that the children were having a ball! What a good mommy you are....
