Paul came home for lunch so that J could open his presents and have the rest of the day to play with his toys. The first present he opened was one that I was wanting to save for Christmas, but the boys brought it in from the garage and helped J open it before I had a chance to stop them. I'm glad he opened it, though, because he LOVED it! It was by far Jack's favorite present. In fact, we couldn't get him to open any others because he wanted to keep playing with it. It was a crate full of wooden fruit with a wooden knife. The fruit is cut into pieces and stuck together with velcro so that J could cut through them.

We finally got him interested in opening the rest of his presents and he and his brothers had fun playing with his new kitchen and pots and pans etc.

J always finds more interesting ways to play with his toys.

After dinner, J got to blow out his candles on his yummy cake.

All in all, it was a nice birthday.
