Maple Candy

We got a neat idea for maple candy from a blog that a friend's daughter writes. So, we tried it and it turned out great! Here's what we did:

Add 1 c. pure maple syrup (not the fake stuff!) to a saucepan.




Let it simmer until thickened.


Collect some clean snow and pack it into a cookie sheet. (we have only had 2 snowfalls and happened to have one the morning before I found this recipe!)



Drizzle the thickened maple syrup onto the packed snow.
